What is the YES Expo?
Michigan Youth Engineering and Science (YES!) Expo 2005 is a unique collaboration among state agencies, corporations, universities, youth organizations, professional societies, and business development organizations from throughout Michigan.
The goal is to inspire middle and high school students to pursue education and careers in science and engineering.
In a hands-on setting, corporate exhibitors will expose students to exciting science and engineering careers.
Universities and community colleges will showcase the educational pathways to these careers and demonstrate the excitement of studying science and engineering.
Special technology-based displays and exhibits will fascinate students about the world of science and engineering.
A high-energy live/multimedia show will be performed several times during the day that will highlight exciting technologies and fascinate students about the world of science, engineering, and technology.
